Якщо помножити ці цифри на відсоток населення нашої країни, що вживає каву, то при одностайній відмові від одноразових стаканчиків ми зможемо зберегти: 11,5 мільярдів цих самих стаканчиків, або ж 0,6 мільйона тон деревини, плюс приблизно 11 мільярдів літрів води. До того ж 79 тисяч тон сміття не опиниться на полігоні. Вражає?

Отже одноразові стаканчики - абсолютно безглузда і бездумна трата природних ресурсів. Окремо потрібно зупинитися на кришці. Вона зроблена з полістиролу і при контакті з гарячим напоєм виділяє канцерогенний стирол. Ні для кого не секрет, що пластик - небезпечний матеріал, тим більше в масштабах планети. При безграмотному використанні він може заподіяти багато лиха.
